We got grass...

So for a while now we have wanted to become more "green". We have already green-scaped our entire back yard and this last weekend we started on our front yard. How? You may ask...We'll let me tell you.

It started with taking out all of the grass in the front yard...

Then when we were taking a little rest (ha) we started to weed the back yard...

I know the pile you see looks fairly small but it ended up filling the entire back of the truck and then some...It was plenty big.

Then we had to change the watering system and dig up all the old pipes and put in new ones...

One trip to the dump with dirt and weeds...

Two trips to the sand pit to put a layer of sand down before we put the grass on...

And finally...the GRASS.

We got FAKE grass. No more mowing, no more weeds.... Here we are adding a little sand to the edges.

I must admit... I now agree with almost every man out there...Plastic is better! It's totally FAKE!!! You know when I drive down the street I will be saying to myself...Real, Real, Real...FAKE. I can totally relate to all guys except this time I really will be talking about GRASS and not A**.

It looks good, I am so happy we did that. Thanks to my dad for all his help last weekend, you're the best!!
