Moab...no "butts" about it

So while i was out on sick leave for 3 weeks in July. I was sick of being stuck in the house and Ryan was sick of being in St. George so we compromised. Ryan packed me up in the back seat of his truck and we headed off to Lake Powell. We went on-line and got a little room at the Marriott...However, when we got there they screwed up on our reservation and the only room left was the Presidential Suite with a view of the river...so for $89.00 I felt like a queen for one night! It was wonderful!!! I think the room really helped my healing process!!! :-) This is a narrow water way that we took our boat threw...Let me tell you about turning the boat around after that. You know the scene in Austin Powers where he goes back and forth a hundred times in the VW bug trying to turn around?!? Well...just picture that but in a boat.

The fishing was blah but it was so nice to be outside and not stuck in the house all day.

Although being outside and hanging out with my husband for a day after being stuck in the house for a couple weeks, a part of me really wished I was back relaxing in the Presidential Suite! Some day we will be able to afford the Pres. suite without a hotel booking screw up! Someday!!! Hey, I can dream can't I?
