I am writing a new on-line book called, "Anger Management"
Chapter one...When angry, go shopping!!!
To release some of my anger towards my neighbors, my friends and I decided to go garage sale shopping this morning. Let me show you some of the great deals I got today during my shopping therapy...
This is a Brighton purse that retails for over $120.00 to $240.00. When I saw this delicious piece of designer handbag, silk lined, 100% leather, mint condition I grabbed it right up. I told myself I would
only spend $10 on it and if it was any more I would have to simply walk away empty handed.
I went to the counter thinking to myself there is no way they are going to get this go for anything under $20...if not $50 and almost put the bag back, however it was a garage sale and decided to ask anyway. I said, "How much are you selling this for?"
The young 20-something looked at me and said "I don't know...seventy-five..."
I stopped her immediately and said, "seventy-five dollars?!?" In the best ghetto Bronx tone of voice I have, you know where the "dollars" was higher pitched then the "seventy-five" to really emphasize the validity of her statement.
"No!" she explained timidly, "seventy-five cents".
Let me just tell you...a Vegas slot machine doesn't spit out money as fast as I did when she said that. I practically threw the money at her and ran off before her friends told her she was getting screwed.
My new designer hand bag. I love it!!!!

I have also been in the market for some workout equipment...That being said, the bow-flex isn't in my price range, especially after our little crapper incident. I tried to barter with a few different houses who were selling misc. equipment and I finally on my 3rd try to get an AB lounge got one down to $10.00 and this one looks like it has never been used.

Also the other day in my fit of furry (when ever I get angry, I start to clean) I was vacuuming our house and i accidentally tripped over the cord to our vacuum and the handle broke right off when it fell over...I still works, I just don't have anything to hold on too. I really wanted a Dyson vacuum but thought to myself if I get get a good gently used one for around $10.00 that would be nice until I can find a Dyson that I can afford. There were a couple vacuums I thought about getting but then I saw this one...Gently used, red, only 1 year old, and still in great working conditions. It was priced at $20...I asked her if she would take $10. She said that is fine. It turns out her husband bought this as a valentines gift a year ago and then they moved to a new home that uses central vac and she hasn't had much need for it since. She told me when she found out her husband bought her a vacuum for valentines day because it was red...she went out and bought him a purse for valentines day because it was red...even trade off if you ask me.

I also went to a Seagull Book who was doing drawing all day. In there newsletter I saw some bracelets I really wanted to get my niece for her upcoming birthday. When I went there I got a free game (Name game
jr) and then I was standing on lucky # 18 when I won this cute little teddy bear and then when i was checking out they said I get a free CD ...So for a $2.
oo bracelet purchase I got all this stuff. Be warned this stuff might be re-gifted to one of you in the future, try to act surprised if you get it!!!

Well, that is my adventures for today, my shopping therapy was a success. If you have any good titles for what Chapter two of my "Anger Management" book should be please let me know...
