I've been STABBED!!!

This picture is not for everybody.  If you don't like blood then you shouldn't look.

Yes, it's true....that is BLOOD (eww, gross)

Last night while shopping another girl grabbed an outfit that I wanted and we got into a wicked knife fight...okay, not really! 

I was actually getting ready to go out on a dinner date with my husband.  Earlier that day my blood sugar was running a little high so I thought I would change my Insulin site to the other side.  After I finished putting in my new site, I ripped out my old one and started to put on makeup.  I leaned over the counter to apply eye liner and my stomach felt wet and I thought I had leaned into some water on the counter.  I immediately started to blame my husband for leaving a mess on counter and not clean it up.  When I looked down though all I saw was RED. 

I screamed, lifted up my shirt and blood was pulsing out of my old insulin site.  Yep, I had hit a vein and blood was gushing out EVERYWHERE!  This has happened once or twice before but I usually catch it on time, so i don't make a mess.  This time not-so-much.  There was blood EVERYWHERE. 

Don't worry, after a quick wardrobe change, we still went out on a nice date and thanks to stain remover,  I spend this morning cleaning up my mess.

On a side note...Benja's new resturant behind the mall is EXCELLENT!!!  :-)
