She is on the "List"

One of Ryan's favorite country singer is up-and-coming Julianne Hough, so for Ryan's Christmas present last year I bought him tickets to her concert here in St. George last Thursday night! Since I knew that Ryan secretly loves her (just like I love my Charles Kelley from Lady A) I tried to get him as close to her as possible (5th row) and really wanted to get him backstage passes to meet her in person.

The day of the concert 99.9 Kony country radio station was giving away backstage tickets when they played her song. They keep saying listen for her song and be caller number 10 and we will also interview her at 8:30...I, being an expert radio fortune teller, can tell you exactly when they will play her song...before they play it. So I knew they would play her song right before her 8:30 interview...The song came on. I called....

I got through...the phone line wasn't busy...Patiently I waited for someone to pick up on the other end.

Ring, Ring, Ring..."Kony" the voice on the other end said.

"Hi!!! What caller am I?" I side enthusiastically.

"This is Carrie" said the mysterious voice on the other end.

"Carrie who?" I questioned, confused at his response.

"This is Carrie Underwood"

"Oh crap!!!" Click,I hung up! I was certain that they would play her song right before she called in, I wasn't really paying attention to the song, I was just listening for a females voice. Needless to say, I was so embarrassed that I completely missed the time they really played her song.

Luckily, the Kony crew said we are giving one more backstage pass away this afternoon at our remote location, all you have to do is come down and sign-up...

I called my best friend, Kristin, and said, "come down with me to the remote and sign up and we can get some free lunch". We went down and guess what...Kristin won! She gave me her backstage passes and she got free tickets to the concert.

Thanks Kristin! We loved going backstage and meeting Julianne Hough! She is so beautiful and an excellent performer! We had so much fun!!!
