You get this....The luxurious Boulder Mountain Lodge!
Luckily, Ryan was prepared enough that he made-do with a couple sticks, lanyard rope and duct tape.
Ryan went on a fishing excursion with one of his work buddies at the Boulder Mtns. in Utah. He was only gone for 4-days however, I think he spent more time planning, mapping and packing for this trip then he did for our wedding! He had a great time out there and enjoyed all the fishing. And even though I missed him, I enjoyed my big comfy bed and clean house!
Here are some nature pictures I thought were pretty cool!
Here is a picture from the top of the mountain into the town of Escalante.
Ryan would like to amend my recounting of the events that led to the creation of the Boulder Mtn Lodge. "I did not forget the tent poles. It was a borrowed tent from work (first mistake) and I was told everything was in the bag (second mistake.)"

How very clever, a true outdoors MAN! Nice you got to enjoy a clean house and comfy bed! LOL!
A true outdoors man lies about not checking for the poles and tells a huge whooper of a tale about how a bear attacked him and he stabbed that bear with the poles and used the bears body as a tent. Wow I told that whole story without using a single comma or period, man would my mother be embarrased. Anyway that would have been my story.
